Customer's Picks- Patterned iPhone Cases

It's like a gift every time I get a Happy Habitat phone case order-- I open the email and scroll down to see what a customer has chosen. Often I look at the combination and think--- that's odd, I'm not quite sure how that's going to look together. Then I put it together and LOVE it. I think that I've already put together the best combinations-- but every day I get something new that that's fantastic. Thought I'd share some of my favorite recent orders...  thanks to all my creative customers for letting me put together something new and interesting every day!

Happy Habitat Eco Throws Go Down Under

I will refrain from making every over-used phrase about Australia. No shrimp on the barbie, mate, or anything else. I PROMISE. But I did want to share with you this fantastic little e-boutique shop based in Australia that is carrying my Eco Throws-- Adorn Homewares. The shop owner, Joanne is the mother of the lovely Loni Parker, the Editorial Director of Adore Home-- my favorite online mag. It's so bright and colorful and full of inspiration. Joanne's shop has some great finds, and she will ship to the US if you see something you have to have. I sent a huge shipment of Throws months ago and wondered why she didn't get them on her website, then realized that our seaons are oppposite-- they are just now gearing up for winter, as we enter summer. Seems like I'm seeing lots of great designs and inspiration coming from Australia lately! Can't wait to see what's next from both mother and daughter.

Here's some of the patterns and colors that Joanne has in the shop:

Rainbows and Doors

Does this ever happen to you: you have something on your mind, then you start to see it everywhere- the laws of attraction I suppose. Might be a word, or a name, or a pattern, or finish? Well, I've had doors on my mind, being that mine is in a state of repair-- halfway sanded, wood-filled, but that's as far as I've gotten. And I guess I always have rainbows on my mind, as that color wheel spins in my head non-stop.

So my mind must've been destined to find this:

Isn't this fabulous!? I wish I had a house I could do this to.

I've been trying to decide how to paint my front door. I did the pscyho-stalker thing and snapped a pic of this door I've had my eye on in my neighborhood:

Cool how it's two toned-- hard to tell from my iPhone/stalker pic, but it's kind of random colors-- like a purplish red, and a softer orangeish red- a bit brighter than appears in the photo. I love it. Not sure if I can pull it off since I have that lame Amittyville Horror half-circle window. Hate that window. Anyhoo-- I'll post if I go for the gusto and try a 2 toned experiment.
